latest news HOME – a new one-day festival at Dartington – Saturday 26 June 2010 HOME, Dartington’s new one-day festival focusing on acoustic music, voices and song from around the world, will take place on Saturday 26 June. A celebration and exploration of different cultures and languages, at a time when we’re losing global cultural, biological and linguistic diversity, HOME features unplugged sets from a wide range of outstanding international artists. Read on for more info… Inky Rags - a book by Mary Bartlett Mary Bartlett recounts a history of Letterpress Printing and Bookbinding at Dartington from 1935 until the present day. This is a fascinating and important chapter in the story of Dartington, which includes characters of significance in the History of the English Fine Press tradition. William McCance, John Mason & Guido Morris, to name just a few. Dartington Joins the Call for Action on Climate Change Dartington is taking part in a national campaign to encourage positive environmental change in the run-up to the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this December, with an evening of free screenings, performances, talks and broadcasts. |
